"I saw Alison for the very first time in the summer of 2005. A range of family commitments, a heavy NHS workload and a recent bereavement had all caught up with me and ADRENAL FATIGUE had arrived!
I found Alison’s thoughtful and unhurried approach during the assessment really reassuring. Her advice, both then and subsequently, has been a significant factor in my returning health. I have needed to take on board a lot of new information and eating habits so the handouts, her explanations and the many practical ideas have been a great help. But it has been her encouragement that has kept me going – and her attitude that ‘food is to be enjoyed’.
I especially appreciated the informal support she provided between appointments during the first months and her prompt responses to any query.
I have every confidence in recommending Alison. I have already done so to my husband, my sister-in-law and to two daughters!

"After years of poor health I am very grateful to Alison for helping me understand what has been going on in my body. I have received excellent dietary advice as well as a detailed supplement regime. I now have more energy, am overcoming long term yeast problems and am free of fibromyalgia pain and feel that at last I am regaining my health.

"I took my son to see Alison recently to discuss his slow growth. At 14 he is the height of a 10 year old and weighs just over 30kgs. His peers all tower above him. She arranged for various tests to be done and discovered from the results of a urine amino acid test that he had a rare condition called cystinuria (a condition that can cause kidney stones & many people with the disease report short stature). My GP then referred me to a specialist who had never seen a patient with this condition who had not been referred due to experiencing kidney stones and was very surprised to know that it was the good work of a nutritional therapist that discovered this condition. We are now in a position to take the preventative action recommended by Alison to prevent kidney stones from developing in future. Alison also provided him with a supplement programme. We are not sure whether cystinuria is the cause of his slow growth or not, but are now more confident that we have done what we can to ensure there is no underlying problem. He has been a picture of health since seeing her and seems better able to shake off the bugs that he comes into contact with."
